Joe Williams, M.M.
Co-founder & Director
Joe Williams is an artist-educator from Tacoma, WA. He teaches piano to students in the Community Music Department of University of Puget Sound, coaches violin/viola students at Key to Change, and teaches courses in music theory, ear training & chamber music at Seattle University. He is artistic director of Music from Home, a concert series in Lakewood celebrating the musical expression of womxn & people of color. As a professional pianist, he has performed across the country at venues such as the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts and abroad in Jordan and UAE. He has played on radio stations live, presented masterclasses at universities and judged piano competitions. All of these endeavors are possible when one has the opportunity and motivation to master an instrument. His life goal is to provide quality, accessible music instruction to all students in Tukwila.
